Hi all
What do you recommend instead of P.Axelrodi? These fish for me are too predators, so I search a valid substitute, what do you think?
Thanks all

This might be what you are looking for!!??

- Hyphessobrycon elachys.. a tiny tetra, 2-3cm. (Paraguay river drainage in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.)

- Corydoras hastatus.. if I am correctly informed they actually do join together with the H. elachys in shoals ..disquised as "tetras"??. (Found in the Amazon basin in Brazil and Rio Paraguay basin in Brazil, Bolivia and Argentina.)

- Otothyropsis piribebuy... a small catfish..very nice and effective in eating some algae. (Río Piribebuy and río Aguaray, rio Paraguay basin in Paraguay.)

You can find some pics of O.piribebuy in this thread..

They are often sold as Otocinclus spec. "Negros" / O.negros... (if you order from any European wholesale!!)

Cheers
