what exatly happened in the amazon basin during the year?
I mean in what month is summer and what happened during this season, and in the other seasons? When does the apistos spowning?
And what happened in the water? When does the pH go down? During what period?
Sorry for all the questions, but i really want uderstand that :)

Well, that's hard to explain. Being in the tropics there's not summer or winter. Temperatures do vary seasonally depending on whether it is the rainy (cooler) or dry (warmer) season. It also depends on what part of the Amazon Basin you're looking at because not all parts of the Amazon have the same rainy/dry seasons. Water values will fluctuate all through the year, depending on external events and geographic location. Since the Amazon contain fairly soft water, minor changes can affect pH radically over a short period of time, depending on the effects of plants, bioload, etc.
