Not the best photo for identification purposes. It looks like a paucisquamis-complex species, possibly A. mendezi. I could be wrong, of course. What was its name when sold to you?
A. mendezi ‘red Uneiuxi wild. I have another one, wich I think is the femaile with a very pale trace of red on the tail. I was wondering why they call them red, I don't see any real red on them yet since 3 months I have them.
There are 2 forms of A. mendezi. Horizontal-stripes from left banks tributaries of the Rio Negro and the Cross-stripes form from right bank tributaries. Color is variable in each form and is only used in commercial names.
