Hi. I'm hoping someone with experience of breeding A. barlowi may be able to help. My female disappeared a couple of days ago and then reappeared yesterday. She comes out rarely and has a more yellow colour and the black spot and stripe (her breeding colours I guess) are displayed rather strongly. She is chasing everything off, particularly my "spare" red-form A. barlowi. She's doing a lot of gill flaring and when she opens her mouth, she only does it very slightly, even to pick at bits of detritus or sand. Do you think she may have wrigglers in her mouth? Here are three videos (not great videos I'm afraid and the sound has the baby screaming in the background as it's bed time!).
