Just wondering if anyone has achieved this or knows anyone that has as I'm attempting it.

Never bred False Neons, but did breed Cardinal/Red-Neon tetras for a while. I imagine they breed the same: bare species tank (15 gallon tank with 6-8 adults); only decor a large clump of Java Moss; R/O water treated with peat to reach pH 5.5; sparingly fed bbs once every day at most. I wasn't breeding for quantity so I didn't put any marbles/rods/net across the bottom to protect the eggs. Hatchlings had to fend for themselves until they could eat bbs. I'd net 6 - 12 fry out of the tank every month and put them in a grow-out tank until they were donated to the club auction. What can I say? I'm a lazy breeder.

Cheers Mike. I got similar advice from Steve Chester - try the same methods as cardinals.
Currently I only have a small tank to try it in and only put 4 in, but may take them out in a couple of days and try P. innesi in there, if they've layed nothing. Getting a new 180litre tank in a few days so may give it a go in there, although it's tempting to transfer my next batch of angelfish fry to there to try to grow them on. Already have Copella compta and Corydoras aeneus fry in small plastic tubs.

Just seen this again. The new tank went to the dark side I'm afraid!
