Not to be too dumb; but still be sure.
My best bet, if I want to breed, is take out the giant danios, and not add any other apistos. Correct?

The place out 22 west is the Pet Shanty. In the best they have had good sampling of African and South American cichlids. They are the only lfs I have every seen with killis.
I have kept African's for many years. I would now like to try apistos.
I have cycled (4 giant Danios) and planted (~15 low light plants) a 29g US tank. I plan to add 2 pairs of blue rams.
After that I would like to add one or two more breeding trios. Is this too much?
