    Danios or Rasboras as dithers

    I just went for some harlequins, the changes in the tank are nuts. The evil male pencilfish has stopped attacking the threadfin female. The threadfin male is shoaling with the harlequins and showing off to them. Calm reigns.

    A lot of species do this even mammals, I've seen lions and gazelles. Its her maternal instincts taking over even if it isnt her young. She wants something to protect, they will do if her male isnt helping her so to speak
