Since a month I have added a male apisto macmasteri to my aquarium which already had 2 females in it.
Are these possibly eggs? If so they are layed on the root ball of a red tiger lotus plant.
Would love to hear from you guys.
And this one? Has more orange on the cheeks and protects the small girl from the bigger one. In the store was almost sure it was a male but it is so hard to see because the colors change. Its way less yellow and more orange but it also looks a lot like the females. Difficult difficult..
Thanks for the tip! I defenitely will change the tank. The whole tank I bought to have Apistogramma so I will make it work:) it's a display but I would like to breed them someday in a different tank. This tank is 1 meter x 50 x 40
