oh and Ive had no problem with cave entrance size mine is 1 inch Sq, female will defend with her life and male will also patrol the tank and coconut area.

I keep my holding/breeding tank simple but natural, small coconut cave, a live plant. temp about 25-28, feed live foods brine shrimp etc as well as flake.

My babies the same age, put the female back into the normal tank on 9\4\14 and she and the male got back together 3 days later, roughly +/- 5 days to hatch and I now have more babies in the net ;P
Not counted them yet but saw a big group

Just wondered how long I should keep my female in my breeding tank with the babies?
also if I can put the male in with them or will he be aggressive to the babies\ or kill them .
I have about 20 babies and female in a 30 litre aquarium

I have only recently, less than a month in fact started keeping 1 male and 2 female Apistogramma Cacatuoides "Orange Flash", in my community aquarium.
within 5 days of having them.. the male and one of the females paired off, and spawned leaving about 30 - 50 eggs, I wrongly...
