I have apistrogramma Viejeta Rio Meta. One male and two females. Females are normal but male is not swim as females. Stay almost down until feeding. When feeding male attach food from down to surface. Male stay bottom always. And when it attact food he spend big energy to catch food...
Thank you very much apistobob Sorry my english. I put him 25 liter pvc food container. There are 2 coconut cave, 1 sponge air filter. Some oak leaf. Unfortunately It is going to not good. He can not swim. he is moving with shake.

I have 2 couple agassizi. I put both couple temporary only one day. Yesterday i saw one male attacted him and he was beating by other male. Some fings and some areas on the skin damaged. He can't sweam as well. He doesn't eat anything. I separed sudenly. He is now alone. What can i do?

Lamp is only 20 W. Standing on top between 2 frys tanks. Problem now solwed. They are swimming and eating many foods. Many thanks this forum.
Light is coming from up, The lamp is up and it is standing between 2 tank. It is energy saver lamp 20W (gives ~100W light)
Now tank required hiding place. There are a lot of empty area. Do i have to increase java moss? Or anything to safe to put apisto frys.

The reason shell and rock for frys to set up hiding place. I removed shell and rock immediatelly last night. And change %20 water from my planted aquarium. I dont change with fresh water. In this aquarium very less light because i am using one enerysaver light for two...

I am chancing water once in 3 or 4 day.
I tested water paremeters yesterday (Tetra 5 in 1)Results;
ph: 7.2
kh: 6
gh: 10
No2: 0 mg/l
No3: 10 mg/l

Problem is still going on. Little apistos standing no movement and very dark black color. When i give them artemia and microworm they moved and eat but they turn back no movement. This is their pictures,
Please if you know anything about problem please give me advise

My Apistogramma cacatuoides frys 2 - 2,5 weeks old. I am feeding them with Artemia and Microworms. I want to accustom frys fd food. I tried 2 or 3 times they didn't eat. Is there any way fd food they can eat?

Before they are pair until female egg in clay poot. I will remove male this night. But i am afraid when female see the fry what will happen? Male still doesn't allow to female out of cave swimming.
