Im planning on setting up several Mosquito Larvae cultures this summer but I'm not sure about the best way to go about it.
Last summer I accidentally left a bucket from some native fish collection out under a tree for a week or so and BOOM tons of the lil bastards, ... But it ran dry fast...
Does anyone have pics of both male and female Laetacara Curviceps?
On fishbase it lists the female as the larger of the two, is this true?

Yet more observations!
It seems theres 2 males(maybe?) They developed a dark lateral band(covering the checker/zig zag pattern) and are constantly contesting eachother(raising fins, shimmering and biting eachothers sides)
and 3 Females they keep the zig zag and...
I know the fish your talking about and have seen them many a time, but these guys look nothing like them(atleast right now they dont).
I will try to get those pics up as soon as possible!
