you should be fine... rams can get a bit territorial, but as long as the tank is well planted you'll be fine. rams hardly are aggressive to the point one is in any serious danger.
I agree.. I just move the males out. In my case, it's the male elizabethae that is overly aggressive. I added dithers, but it doesn't really help much, so I just moved everything out leaving the female to rear and raise her fry.

Yes this is normal. the male will chase the female until she is full with eggs and once that happens, the chasing stops and courting/spawning will occur. If the chasing gets bad, with physical attacks, add a few more hiding spots for her (coconut shells, tera cotta pots, caves, etc.)...
