Confirmation Laetacara please

Can anyone confirm me that this is for sure a Laetacara araguaia, sold to me as a Nannacara anomala! I'm sure it is but I find that it is not tha same as I had in 2006 like the one on the last pic. Thanks!​

Since 2006 that I'm looking everywhere in Canada for my favorite Laetacara. I only found them outside Canada but no one's shipping here. What a pity! And yesterday, whitout looking for them at all, I find those in a lfs, I took all of them wishing they will pair... I almost never buy in lfs, except for this time!

L. araguaiae (you both forgot the last 'e'). Your last photos looks like the form originally listed as L. sp. Purple-Gold. There are different color morphs.

yes those are for sure Laetacara araguia i am the one who sold them to pet shops in Quebec i bought the parents from aquaticlarity 2 years ago! PS i have lots more if you want some (they breed like rabbits)

Aquaticclarity is me! LOL They were imported as Laetacara Buckelkopf from Araguaia which is of course Laetacara araguaiae. I still have a few of the smallest ones that came in on that same import which are now young adults (They came in small Apistogramma size)

Hello Aquaticclarity!

Surprise tonight before closing the lights. Too bad my window was dirty inside just where are the eggs, but you can see them a little. The male is at his best colors, not as flashy as L. dorsigera but still special. The female wanders around the tank as if nothing had ever happened!
